Key Concepts Applied to a Magazine

For this task, I had to find out what the key concepts consist of when looking inside a magazine. I found that probably the most important element applied to a magazine is the main image. This is because it attracts the readers attention in order for them to buy it. I used prezi to portray these key concepts as it is easier to read than any other software in my opinion. Before doing this task I wanted to make sure I understood about each of the different key concepts that a magazine has so that when it comes to making my own magazine, I will have a better understanding of what to include and what not to. 



Learning about the different key concepts applied to a magazine allowed me to develop my knowledge of this particular topic. This is important for me because I needed to be clear on how each element depicts meaning inside the magazine. I found by doing this the layout is important because if a company does not involve every element that is meant to be on a front cover then it would not attract the reader. As well as this, if the main focal point is not the main image then the reader would lose interest and look at another, if it were on a shelf at the shop. I will remember what I have learnt from this task and will incorporate it into my final piece. This is because I would like my magazine to appear as real as possible.
