Wordle on Music Magazines

Looking at magazine titles is an important aspect when studying media. This is because, if a company is looking to make a new magazine, then they would need to find out which music magazine titles sell the most. By looking at different names of music magazines it makes people like my classmates and myself understand how different types of magazine titles sell. Below is a wordle of a different titles on music magazines put together.

This wordle gives me an idea that every music magazine has the words "Music" and "Magazine" in them, this implies that the audience would need to know what they are buying and seeing these words would then reinforce their judgement on whether to buy it, as they know that the information they read from it would be about music magazines. I decided to go with a set out such as this one because it has an 'indie' look to it and this relates to music because new music should be different from every other music track out in the industry. From doing this task, I have learnt that each word used on a title page of a magazine has to stand out to the demographic in order for them to purchase it. When I eventually make my own music magazine I will keep this technique in mind and use catchy phrases which will attract the attention of others. I have also learnt that writing exactly what the information is about is a good concept because an audience would want the magazine to get straight to the point instead of all the information they read represented as 'waffle.'
